Choosing a power supply

Is output power of 5,000W ok?

Well if the total load exceeds 5000W then the supply's protection mechanism will kick in. The particular item that you are looking at has multiple outputs - 4, I believe - each of 1250 W - though the o/p voltage is not mentioned, nor is it mentioned if there is any load balancing or sharing between the outputs - so if one o/p exceeds 1250W, does that particular output go into protection mode while the other outputs still deliver 1250W? Or is it that if only one output is being used, then the full 5000W can be had from it?

What is the load you want to apply? This supply is listed as being for medical purposes, however it is listed as a supply for RADAR, what certifications do you need and does it have those?

5KW is a lot of power and should be handled with care.
