Hello,
I am designing an EMO Circuit which also activated by PLC. I am search of an EMO Switch that has actuator that can be controlled by PLC.

For example, this EMO switch should have mechanical activation by human and electrical activation by PLC. Two function in an EMO switch.

Can anyone guide me to a brand or model of this type of the switch?

Hi Farzad,

I think you need a proximity sensor that is common to actuators nowadays.

Some actuators uses inductive and capacitive type of sensor that controls the I/Os of DCS and PLC system of an industry.

These are mechanically activated by human and electronically controlled by DCS and PLC systems.

Siemens supplies some of those sesnors and most industrial automation suppliers and manufacturers have their own version of it.

Hello Mr Farzad,

Instead you can use a parallel relays which are activated by PLC.

Trip your safety Relay Circuit when EMO condition is required.

Put a reset Push button for user to acknowledge Safety relay trip and resume power to circuit.

This will be much cheaper.
