Hello everyone,
I'm currently a student in his junior year studying electronics engineering technology. I've been applying to colleges to transfer, as i want to go down the path of electrical engineering. I find myself to like theory more than lab work. I'm good in math (took all require math courses) and have a knack for creation.
Some professors recommended graduating with my Technology degree and then go for a masters in electrical engineering. However, when i ask the professors if i will land a job as an electrical engineering , they tend to not really give a straight answer.
I feel if i were to graduate with my current degree and go for a masters in electrical engineering, that potential jobs would view me as an odd ball combination and i wasted my time
Should i go straight for the electrical engineering major, lose some credits and time? Or do i stay where i am and go then go for a masters in EE?
I apologize if this isn't the right place to ask this, I'm not so sure where to go to ask such a question.
Thank you for your time!
Sincerely,
Dimi
