Hello,

I am looking for a module that selects automatically between the main power supply (5V - 24V DC supplier), and the backup supply (battery) when my main source is off.
I tried searching for mini power converters or BMS but didn't find what i needed.
The supplier should output a 5V - 3A peak supply.

Hi,

I was searching "Digikey("")":http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en if they have this power module you needed, only to find out that they only have 5 -28VDC, 3A or 5A. Have you tried searching the site?

Hi,

I have not tried searching Digikey specifically.
I was searching via google and such.
Last night I found something called picoUPS which was close, but not exactly what I needed.
One of the problems I had was that I couldn't define exactly how the module is called.
What was your query on Digikey?

Well basically, I just search for a power module that has the specs you are looking for. Maybe you can also specify the power ratings and other electrical characteristics that you need to further narrow your search.
