I’m trying to build a mini size (desk size) inflatable air dancer, I’m looking into a fan anything not bigger than 3” or 4”

what fan would work that is high pressure and can run with batteries?

A "Centrifugal Fan", such as a bathroom extractor fan, provides a higher pressure than an ordinary cooling fan. But it will be more expensive.

If your puppet is made of very light material, tissue or very thin plastic film, an ordinary 12V cooling fan might work.
