Ball Joint Cable Armor

HI, my name is Brandon and this is my first post on the forum. EVER!

Anywho, I'm an aerospace engineering student attending New Mexico State University. I've recently undertaken the task of starting my own business. I have a few product ideas, but most of them are in the realm of electrical engineering, so I figured I'd create an account here so that I might utilize this great community resource. 

My project is almost complete, but I'm looking for one part that will really put the icing on the cake. I'm looking for a ball/joint type of armor for a cable/wire similar to the one featured in this picture:

I'm looking for just the armor part, and perhaps just one link. Does anybody know if something like this exists in a metal version or something? I'll be integrating it with another component in my cable prototype, so I'm hoping to find just a ball joint that will effectivley armor the cable as it does in the "SnakeCable" I linked.

If anybody knows if something like this exists, please let me know!

This looks like a lighting cable protector. You can buy these on amazon or any online stores. I'm not sure if there are metal types available for this.

Everything but "ball joint" points to some aluminum or steel flex conduit that you can find at an electrical supply house. It comes in 3/8", 1/2", 3/4"... You can even get pvc coating flex conduit. Some types can be quite flexible. Check out the link below.
