i would like be a good eletric motor design engineer. so what are the skillset to have above an engineer???

Hi,

It would be wrong to state definitive skill sets of an engineer knowing the diversity of the field itself. But I think in my opinion, the basics must be there like electric machines, circuit design and analysis, etc. The best learning would be on the actual experience of the real thing.

The general technical skills for an Electrical Engineer are Maintenance (PM/CM) Management, basic troubleshooting in power, AC, DC & control, BMS, electrical dimentioning skills/softwares, basic design concepts etc.
