Hi, Here i have attached two images of Capacitor based small exhaust fan motor. IN which one has a PCB attached to the motor and other don't have. I would like to know, what is the application of PCB in a capacitor based motor? Does it influence the performace of the motor?

Hi,

I'm not so sure. But i think the PCB type is just for motor control or protection. Technically, it would infuse a change in performance.

Thanks for the reply,

i just detached it from the winding. All the wire terminations are done in the PCB and it have a fuse kind of a thing attached to it . Thermal Fuse i think, printed 134'C 2A N127 15N
