Hi, I am looking for ideas on how to boost a DC source to increase the amperage and reduce the voltage for use in a carbon arc furnace type application, the source consists of a bank of 75Ah x 6v DC batteries. And can this be done using a heavy duty transformer type conversion with high amperage diodes or do I have to get more techinical than that?
