Web-Based Application for Manual Production Test Results Entry and Analysis

Does anyone use /  know of, or could recommend, an application for storing test results from production testing.
We currently use paper test procedures; tests are manual with the results hand written on a result sheet.A scan in PDF format is stored on the company sever.The quantity of units being tested is currently to low to consider automated test.

I'd like to modernise the system by using an application that guides the test technician through each test, allowing him/her to enter the results into the computer.  At the end of the procedure the results would be stored in a database.  Ideally there would be the ability to print (or email) a sheet of results for/to the customer.  The ability to analyse / compare results from previous test to see any trends or outliers would be a useful addition.  Ideally the program would be web based and accessed through a web browser.
I've done several web searches, but all come up with programs for software test and not hardware.

ChrisI know they say that when the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. I have written so much about Microsoft Excel that perhaps I am blinded by saying I think you can use Excel.By using forms set up for the application or getting more advanced and using VBA (Visual Basic fro Applications- the macro language in all Microsoft applications) you could prompt the user for data.ALthough you don;t say how the data is captured, I have even written about capturing data from instruments direct to Excel using the serial port.I believe that this would meet all your requirements inclkuding online access if you are using Office 365.My book(out of print, but available on Kindle) deals with some data entry and VBA. My articles (all on-line) intentionally avoid VBA and do cover some data entry implictly. You can find a list of all my Excel related publications here.  Example 17 (in that list) will give you some ideas about creating your own form. Fowr what it is worth, the files are on Dropbox, and it may require registration with Dropbox to access them.Of course there are hundreds of books and other resources on Excel you could use as well.
