DIY Wi-Fi Extender Materials List and Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions Needed

Hi Everyone, I'm new here. I want to build a Wi-Fi extender for my electromagnetism course but i have some problems. Basically i need a receiver to catch signal and sender to resend it. Unfortunately i don't know all materials specifically which i need. Also i don't know exactly how to install it. Can anyone help me?

Baris... I don't like to pour cold water on your idea, but you're being VERY ambitious here.  Wi-Fi is a two-way channel so you will need 2 receivers and 2 senders.  You could probably do something with 2 wifi modules and a microcontroller in between, but even that would be a large project.  Plus you can buy something that does the same thing for a few tens of dollars.A couple of simpler suggestions for ideas:- Wireless charging quality tester- NFC alert (lets you know when there are readers around trying to scam your credit card details)- Cellphone Jammer (but note these are mostly illegal)

Firstly, thanks for these interesting ideas. You are not the only person who finds my project ambitious.  I will appraise your ideas. I'm also thinking about dipole or yagi antenna project for a Wi-Fi device. but for now i'm just trying to collect information.
