Why Does Arcing Occur at the Live Contact When Unplugging Under Load (5 Amps AC)?

If I pull a plug out of an AC electric power socket with a heavy current flowing (say 5 amps), there is an arc at the LIVE contact, not at the NEUTRAL contact. Why?

Probably because the live contact happens to disconnect first.
