Hello everyone, I want to ask such a question. I read in several forums that Hyundai Creta often has problems with electrics. Has anyone had this problem? Is it true? I choose SUV, and Creta is one of the options. Thanks!

Hi John,I have two Hyundai cars in our English household for the last 8 years.One is an I30 and the other is an IX35. Neither car has show any tendency to electrical failure and both are left outside in what ever weather conditions are happening in England, both are diesels.The Ix35 has had one failed door curtsey light switch with was easily replaced by me.Obviously as a sample of 2 I could not quote that they have a higher or lesser electrical failure rate than other cars.

Hi John,I hope the vehicle gives you long service. I tend to be possessive about my cars and try to keep them for as long as possible or until they get too expensive on repairs to keep running.

At the expense of the repairs, you can see if parts for your car on boodmo . There is quite a wide range and good prices.

boodmo appear to supply only to India from what their web site suggests. Still it does look a tasty site. However at 70 + years, I tend to let younger engineers keep my cars going now. Even in my younger days I always ended up with a bad back as I had no hydraulic lift to use.I tend to find electronic components to be about the right weight for my dexterity now.

Hyundai Creta fails to offer all-wheel drive. Most of the cars have 2WD (2 wheel drive) and it is sufficient to manage rain and light snow conditions. For performance cars, RWD (rear wheel drive) is the preferred option. If you go for AWD or 4WD, there will be a considerable addition of weight to the body. Hence, there should be a compromise on the fuel-economy.
If you would like to go on an adventure, there should not be any compromise on the traction. Duster and XUV500 are better options in this direction.
