If the online or offline seller says a particular LED Canopy Light is meant for gas stations, two reasons can be attributed to such lights. First, the canopy lights are meant to be mounted on soft fit (canopy) usually to be seen on gas stations. But, this is partly true. If you can find canopies in restaurants, motels or convenience stores, you can always mount the lights as recessed lights from below or above the deck. Secondly, gas stations require 5700K (day white light) which if lights in LED canopy lights are, these are perfectly suitable for gas stations. When in 3000K (warm white), these can be used for creating a relaxing ambiance in restaurants.
