I am using D-flipflops (SN74LV175A from texas instruments) in my circuit. Can anyone please guide me how to get its power consumption if I provide the supply voltage in range 2-3.6 volts
An IC has both static power consumption (given as 20 uA in TI's 74LV175A data sheet) and dynamic power, which depends on frequency. Think of your circuit as having a bunch of capacitors which get charged and discharged as your circuit functions. The higher the frequency the more times per second capacitors charge and discharge, which uses supply current. Dynamic power depends on the frequency, how many nodes are actually toggling, and the supply voltage.
A certain amount of dynamic power gets consumed by the IC itself, but with an MSI chip like a 74LV175A far more gets consumed outside the chip since the capacitances charged and discharged are larger.
TI has an application note on this subject which looks useful from a quick scan: CMOS Power Consumption and Cpd Calculation
One
of the complicated errors which are being reported by a small number of
QuickBooks users in the community is QuickBooks Error code 80029c4a.
This error generally takes place due to several reasons such as, when component
of QuickBooks doesn’t work or function properly, dynamic link library that is
DLL files are missing or being corrupted due to the abnormalities of system.
Sometimes, the installed antivirus software also causes this error code to come
to pass. So, we recommend you to check and stop temporarily your antivirus and
firewall security once and then check whether QuickBooks Error Code 80029c4a is
there or not.
