Hey, I'm building a device that's going to be inside of a bouncy ball, and I need a shock sensitive switch that's small and sensitive enough to turn on when the ball is caught or bounces.
I need it to be an open circuit when off and close to 0 ohms when on. I'll be switching 3 volts at about 2 amps with it. Assuming it's cylindrical, the largest it can be is about the size of a AAA battery. I need it to be sensitive enough to be able to be turned on by a force of 2 to 3 Gs. I've already tried SW10810P vibration switches, and while they are small, they are not nearly sensitive enough. I cannot get any of them to turn on without flicking them hard enough to rip them out of the breadboard. Does anyone know of a switch that would work for my application?
