I am looking for a cheap daughter board that can safely charge two AA batteries- series or parallel, can alter to support either, but parallel would be preferred.
I am creating a docking station charger for 2 devices I have which both run off a single AA battery (which lasts about a week at the longest), and I want to replace the back cover with 3D printed cover with contacts to touch the base to start charging. My design has it so when it charges, an NPN transistor cuts power to device (hosted inside the battery bay, as final contact port #5 or 3; don’t remember how many I designed to expose, but I believe current design just needs battery terminals and npn transistor lead).
