I'm looking to build my first drone on a budget, and I decided to see how cheap I can go because I just want to test some of the electronics before I move on to a better one. I don't think I'll have too many problems with the code, but I'm not sure if the parts I'm looking at are compatible or if the build is even feasible.
For the frame and motors I'm considering the cheapest thing I could find on Amazon, which is this. Reviews say that the frame is pretty fragile, but those size frames are really cheap on Amazon and the motors come with the kit for a low price so I figured I could just buy replacement frames if/when necessary.
From what I understand, you don't need an ESC for brushed motors and you can control them from an Arduino using a transistor. Please let me know if this is incorrect, as it is my understanding that the Arduino takes the place of a flight controller and removes the need for one.
