I'm trying to find a way to feed an AC load but prevent any backfeed. I'm not sure if there is a way to do it or not, but I can't find anything online, probably due to the fact that I'm having a hard time wording it correctly. I was hoping to feed 120v 20A load with absolutely 0 backfeed. Is this at all possible, or is that the reason I can't find any information on it?

What type of load are you using?
Resistive, capacitive, inductive or mixed?
