I'm trying to replace a broken TFT display for a visual aide. the unit was dropped and the screen is fubar.
The display is 800x480 TFT color and appears to be a standard chinese module.theflex cable is 40pin with a two wire back light. I don't think that there is a driver on the flex cable/circuit board.
I just wonder if the original part is no longer available, is it possible to source an equivalent? If an alternative might be found, is there a "best practice" to find it?
