Hi RF Engineers,

I saw that measurement results of a few implementation of microstrip filters and antennas seem to be always lower than design results in resonant frequency. Please explain to me why it happens?
Is it similar on others materials?

It's because the models don't take into account the parasitics and losses. Also, different materials have different loss rates, which can change the results of a measurement.

Many factors will influence the frequency. Simulation frequency is only theoretical.
