    Hello,
Can someone help me with the latest firmware for my Sharp LC-49CFF6002E? (Model year 2016)
    Serial: A49CF6002EB13D97117560700546

The issue: in settings it showed that "Update is available". I clicked "Update via Network". Wi-Fi was connected, so the Internet was working; no power outages. It asked for a USB stick, I plugged in an empty FAT32 USB stick. It downloaded SW; a progress bar was shown on the display. Then it turned off and never turned on.

I have checked the files on the USB stick, and it was empty. So now I think it's trying to load the firmware file from the USB. That's why I am looking for this file.

    Current states:
    1. When I turn on TV with everything unplugged: the TV LED is blinking/flashing with RED for 1 second and BLUE for 1 second. Or maybe a bit less than 1 second, super quick. It's a loop; it doesn't stop blinking.
    2. When the USB stick is plugged in: the TV LED is blinking/flashing with RED for 3 seconds and BLUE for 3 seconds. Slow blinking. It's a loop as well; it doesn't stop.

I was able to find a firmware Sharp+LC-4...F6002E.rar Download(105.98 MB) file (SW name inside allupgrade_6308rtbm.bin) on the other forum, but it's not working; so I assume it is the wrong file, or the wrong firmware version.
Also, I found a PDF sharp_lc-4...02e_sm.pdf Download(9.66 MB) with documentation for this model, in case anyone needs it, or it will help experts to fix my issue

    Huge thank you!

this is the correct sw for your model SHARP LC-49CFF6002E A49CF6002EB13D

    how to upgrade/restore software
copy the file allupgrade_6308rtbm.bin on an empty usb stick fat32 formatted
disconnect the power cord from ac mains for 10 seconds (until the standby led has extinguished)
insert the usb stick into the usb port on the rear/side of the tv
re-connect the power cord to ac mains whilst pressing the standby button on the tv
the tv will come on and the light on the front will flash blue whilst updating, when it has completed the light will turn to red
remove the usb stick and turn the tv on
you will be welcomed with the first time installation screen; if you are not, on the remote control press MENU followed by 8888
press OK to retune the tv

    Hi billobirillo,
    0. I have downloaded the new file you provided.
    1. A 16 GB Kingston USB stick formatted under Windows 11 to FAT32. Copied one file, allupgrade_6308rtbm.bin, to the USB drive.
    2. Disconnect the power cord from AC mains for 10 seconds (until the standby LED has extinguished).
    3. Insert the USB stick into the USB port on the rear/side of the TV.
    4. Reconnect the power cord to AC mains while pressing the standby button on the TV.
    TV behaviour after step 4:
Red indicator on start, then blue for 3 seconds, then red for 3 seconds, and in a loop again and again. From what I see it's supposed to be blue for some time, more than 3 seconds

    New test
    1. I unplugged the USB and disconnected the power plug:
    2. I connected the power plug to the TV with no USB connected:
    3. In this case I see blue for 3 seconds, then red for 1 second, then blue for 1 second, and then it's just blinking 1 second red 1 second blue.

    Opinion:
From this I see that maybe it's trying to read something from the USB, since the LED gives different signals if USB is connected.
Maybe there are other ideas about what I am doing wrong?

try with a smaller usb stick: max 4GB
    usb stick connected
while holding down the power button on the tv, insert the power cord
and continue to hold down the power button until the update starts

if it still doesn't work, the nand might be damaged

OK, trying with 4 GB stick

This TV has no power button on it, but it has STANDBY button like in your instruction above. Usually this TV has a red LED indicator after the power cord is connected.

A 4 GB stick is a pretty rare thing, so it will take a few days for me to find it. I'll reply after tests

    Many thanks!

I have some good news. Many thanks billobirillo for being with me on this journey.
TV works fine. Long story short: USB stick must be MBR and not GPT

Nice suggestions to add to the general instruction or whomever you will help next.
I think this applies to all old TVs and must be confirmed for all old TVs.

I used USB stick 16 GB, but I used Gparted linux software to change partition table from GPT to good old MBR. After that I created only one partition with 1GB, rest was free. I think this way for a TV it was good enough.

The rest was exactly like in your instruction.

So I will update the instruction. Let me know if that make sense:

    how to upgrade/restore software
    1. copy the file allupgrade_6308rtbm.bin on an empty usb stick fat32 formatted (make sure it's MBR partition table, if USB drive more then 8GB try create 1 partition 1GB size)
    2. disconnect the power cord from ac mains for 10 seconds (until the standby led has extinguished)
    3. insert the usb stick into the usb port on the rear/side of the tv
    4. re-connect the power cord to ac mains whilst pressing the standby button on the tv
    5. the tv will come on and the light on the front will flash blue whilst updating, when it has completed the light will turn to red
    6. remove the usb stick and turn the tv on (in my case it booted by itself)
    7. you will be welcomed with the first time installation screen; if you are not, on the remote control press MENU followed by 8888
    8. press OK to retune the tv

TV works, many thanks to billobirillo.
    I'll close this post.
