    Hi all!

    My
Close-up of a PCB; red circle highlights IC U204 and nearby SMD components.
Whirlpool refrigerator suddenly stopped working completely. No light inside, no sound at all. Totally dead.

In the meantime I already replaced the inverter module (CF02D01), but that did not solve the problem.

Now I removed the internal control board and inspected it. It does receive power, so the power supply reaching the board seems OK. I took a photo of it — does anything look suspicious to you? Maybe the component I marked with the red circle?

    Thanks a lot!

    Kind regards,
    Wim

On the power side, there must be a DC inverter on what is it made?

Model, type of equipment, plate please, and were any measurements taken, or just a repair on a replacement basis, and this efflorescence is damage or dirty, as the photo is also taken from an angle, what is the processor or what chip in there, as you can't see anything?
