I have a short question. What is more or less the point in the markings AC1, AC2, AC3 ... The maximum contact current of the contactor has such markings. All I know is that it is about different types of loads. How are these categories defined? For example, according to cosine of phi, harmonics, or something else?

These are the categories of use that talk about possible switching currents, e.g. by a contactor or other switch. AC1 is, for example, switching on without overcurrents (resistive circuits) and AC3 are induction motors in a heavy start (if I remember correctly), i.e. the nominal current multiplied by about 5-6.

I recommend H. Markiewicz's book "electrical installations" or similar

    Spox.
And some number of the standard, or something similar about the more precise definition of the above-mentioned category?
