Loxone - the energy revolution in building automation
(Sponsored)Incredible savings, intuitive operation or changing regulations - these and dozens of other reasons are convincing more and more people to invest in building automation. Whether you're an electrician, an installer or simply interested in creating innovative solutions to everyday problems, it's worth getting to know the Loxone system. It provides a revolutionary approach that changes the way buildings function and communicate with their occupants.
Today, expectations of buildings are constantly increasing. Customers want comfort, energy efficiency, safety and ease of use, and integrating all of this at once can be dizzying. We're talking about all sorts of devices, controls, wiring, programming - it takes a lot of time and effort. But what if there was a way to keep this process to a minimum? Something that would make smart buildings really like that?
Intuitive and easy-to-use platform
One of the key elements, that distinguishes the Loxone system is its intuitiveness. Designing, programming and managing an installation becomes simpler than ever before. Loxone is an open system, which means that if the product has the right interface, it can be integrated into the Loxone building automation system. Templates for integrating various third-party products are available in the Loxone library.
Below you will find some information about a key tool in this system - Loxone Config.
Revolutionary operation - click here for more information
Loxone Config is a professional and free tool for configuring home and building automation. There is no similar software on the market with which you can more easily and quickly plan, configure and update a building automation system of any size. Off-the-shelf modules that can be freely combined with each other when creating logic make Loxone Config unique in the world and incredibly versatile.
Let's see what it looks like in real life. Here are some of the features of Config that set it apart from other systems.
1. Autoconfiguration
With its innovative autoconfiguration feature, Loxone Config creates the basic configuration of all relevant functions itself, such as shading or lighting. The visualisation for a smartphone or tablet is also generated fully automatically. In less than a minute, the installer has a configuration at his disposal that corresponds 100% to our standards and recommendations for building and home automation. The necessary changes and individual settings can then be made. Autoconfiguration is an absolutely invaluable feature that is only available from Loxone.
2. Simulation and live view .
Before working on the object, Loxone gives you the opportunity to test the configuration using the simulation mode. This allows you to check that all parameters have been entered correctly.
The live view function allows you to observe the object during operation. This allows you to see where errors occur without even being physically on site.
3. Project planning and analysis
The Loxone tool allows you to quickly plan a project and create a quotation for a customer. The ability to search for and replace selected products helps you select the perfect combination, all with just a few clicks.
Everyone makes mistakes sometimes - the project analysis function checks the configuration for the most relevant aspects, such as:
- complexity of the keyword,
-unused components or
-unused light circuits,
while offering assistance in the form of valuable statistics.
Modularity and flexibility
Every project is different, which is why Loxone offers flexible modular solutions that can be customised. Our products are scalable, meaning you can easily expand the system as your project grows. Whether you're creating a smart home, an office building or a hotel, Loxone will provide you with unlimited possibilities for personalisation and customisation to meet your specific needs.
Isn't conventional installation better, easier, more proven?
If something is familiar, it doesn't always mean it's better. Modern technology is developing at a dizzying pace - sometimes it is difficult to keep up with all the news and information, even in a very narrow niche. We do not aim to add our brick to the information chaos in this area. On the contrary: we make it easier, simpler, more integrated. We believe in simplicity. An orchestra where everyone wants to be a soloist will never work. In the Loxone system, the Miniserver takes on the role of conductor, seamlessly managing all the other devices in the building. We get an easy-to-use app and intuitive buttons - but we'd most like to get rid of them altogether. We believe that the building has to know itself what to do, when to do it and react to changing circumstances.

Energy efficiency and sustainability
Newly constructed buildings must be more energy efficient and environmentally friendly. According to the latest regulations from 28 April 2023, all non-residential buildings with a heating system or combined heating and ventilation system with a total rated thermal output of more than 290 kW and with an air conditioning or combined air conditioning and ventilation system with a total rated cooling output of over 290 kW must be equipped with an automation and control system by 31 December 2024.
Loxone actively contributes to sustainable development by offering solutions that minimise energy consumption and contribute to environmental protection. Our intelligent energy management systems allow us to monitor power consumption, control lighting, heating and air conditioning to achieve optimum energy efficiency. In this way, we not only help customers to reduce their energy bills, but also reduce the negative impact on the planet.
