* the use of AI-powered development tools, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor and Tabnine,
* developing skills in AI and machine learning,
* AI-assisted EDA tools,
* cybersecurity and post-quantum cryptography,
* quantum computers, chiplet architecture and advanced packaging technologies,
* Edge AI solutions and SiC and GaN semiconductors.
Each response will provide a better understanding of how engineers are using new technologies, what they expect from AI tools, and what concerns they have regarding their further development.
The survey results will be presented to the industry at the electronica 2026 and published in AspenCore’s media channels. They are intended to serve as a starting point for a broader discussion on the future of engineering and the electronics sector as a whole.
