    Hello
My battery was completely discharged, I connected it to the charger, I charged it 5 to 10 minutes, I disconnected the clamps, I wanted to fire on the starter, turned once and the battery fell again
So I wonder if it is possible to start the engine while charging the battery?
    I request information

In 10 minutes, you can even light the lamp inside and not start with the starter

Can not. Even if you succeed, the deeply discharged battery will significantly overload the alternator, which will cause the winding to overheat and possibly the rectifier failure, because the alternator is a voltage source, not a current one.

I think so too, I just needed to be sure
in general, my rectifier is a huge old Russian machine that is able to transmit a large current

the rectifier may be large, but it probably will not give several hundred amps and therefore it fires from the second battery
And the fact that a heavily discharged battery loads the alternator is true, but the alt should not burn anyway and that sometimes it happens it is a result of the trash produced in newer cars
