Gentlemen, welcome after a long time and sorry for refreshing the topic.

    I have the following problem:
the computer worked on a 400W power supply, the power supply fell and I gave the computer to the site. There they exchanged the power supply for me and the guy was recovering the data, because apparently something fell apart. I go home, I connected to the LG monitor (lcd) and the problem with the economy mode also happened to me. I connected the monitor to my laptop and it's okay, but when I connect to a PC, it doesn't work. He operated on the bank, because when I picked up a friend from the website, he showed me that he had regained everything. I don't know what to do now. A friend told me that on the website they could connect me to a monitor with much better parameters and now the graphics card remembers the settings of this monitor and wants to force my LG on it, weaker these much better parameters, so it puts it into sleep mode. He suggested to me to start the computer and hold F8 (to enter safe mode), then with a lower resolution it should start. If not then insert your Windows bootable disc and start the installation and see if the image appears.
Do you have any ideas or new ways to solve the problem with Eco Mode in LG?

All of you talk about switching to DVI ... What if I have been going to DVI from the very beginning and I still have this problem? What's the kaman? Because I can't anymore ...

Sorry for refreshing the topic, but I really don't know what to do anymore.

How's that damn thing to turn off?
I still have to follow the above-mentioned instructions?

    Hello.

I have a new LG E2240T monitor connected by DVI. When the computer is turned off, the monitor goes into economy mode instead of off. This is annoying because the standby LED is blinking then. Can anything be done about it?

    greetings
    Paul

Turn off the power strip after shutting down the system, which should always be done.

Hello, I've been trying to cope with my economy mode for half a year now.
    Graphics card RADEON X1950 PRO.
TV with Monitor function or vice versa LG FLATRON M1994D-PZ.
I rarely use a desktop computer, but once every 2 weeks I like to start a game, unfortunately after 5 minutes, sometimes after a minute of play, everything freezes, buzzing, black image and economy mode pops up, only turning off and on the computer helps. again.
Until now, everything was connected on an RGB cable with an adapter connected to the graphics card, because this one has two dvi outputs. Yesterday I bought a 2xDVI cable, unfortunately the problem is still nothing has changed.
This may be the fault of the temperature, because the card must rise to the heights of these games.
I am asking for help in the field of cables, graphics cards. and monitors I am a layman, so please do not use difficult language

    Hello,
I will describe my situation and maybe help someone.
    LG W1942S monitor - D-SUB monitor output
GeForce 9600GT graphics card - 2 DVI outputs

The monitor is connected to the computer with a DVI - D-SUB adapter

The problem appeared with the economical mode in the LG monitor (I still had a Benq monitor for testing)
I tried to do as in the 1st post of this topic, unfortunately in the settings I only had the PLUG & PLAY Monitor (no distinction between ANALOG - DIGITAL) so it was impossible to install DIGITAL (the monitor only had a D-SUB output) I will add that after connecting the Benq monitor via the DVI cable it supposed to start, but only at a resolution of 800x600.

I found the solution to the problem by replacing the DVI - D-SUB adapter (for an adapter that has all the pins - the previous one did not)
Now, even when I start the computer on the DVI cable and the benq monitor and after disconnecting it on a working computer and inserting the adapter (with all pins) and connecting the LG monitor (regardless of the DVI socket in the card), the LG monitor wakes up immediately ... without all pins, after plugging in, writes economy mode ... (also regardless of the DVI slot of graphics cards)
Interestingly, leaving the LG monitor on the adapter without all pins, the image appears after some time ... but again after some time the saving mode turns on ...

I hope that I have explained everything quite clearly and maybe someone will find this information useful ...
If anyone has any additional questions, please write ;)

Such a proposal, for those who connect LG monitors directly via DVI cable, check what cable do you have? Does it have all the pins? If it doesn't, try to try it on one that has all the pins.

    greetings

    Hello.
For some time I couldn't cope with "with" Actually, I didn't quite know what. When starting a game that has very minimal requirements, the monitor enters economy mode.
I swapped the second monitor then the third. I have several monitors so it was not a problem.
Replacing the monitors did not help.
I took out the graphics card, took off the fan and heatsink from the graphics card processor. I cleaned the old paste spot, gave a new paste, cleaned the graphics card contacts, put it back together. After turning it on, everything is normal, no problem. It helped me, maybe it will help someone.

    Hello .

    on a desktop I have a graphics card asus 6600 has 3 v-out outputs d-sub and dvi-d.

the old monitor was first connected to the d-sub, then I changed to dvi-d, the monitor died after 9 years of operation.

I dug a new LG flatron 2251S monitor, I connected it to the only d-sub output it has and the monitor turned on, you could see the system landing, a black win xp desktop popped out and after some time the monitor loses signal, it shows economy mode and you can not see anything and win xp starts to the very end what you hear in the speakers.

I kicked the d-sub to dvi-d adapter and it did nothing

the monitor, when connected to a laptop, fires up, works 100% with the laptop, you can see the win xp desktop.

and I took a stationary one to the girl, I connected her monitor to the d-sub and this crap is happening as above.

what do you advise to do ?? somehow uninstall the drivers on the system disk and connect ??

Added after 5 [hours] 11 [minutes]:

    Edit:

I took out the disk and removed the graphics drivers and took out the graphics card.
I connected the monitor to integrated graphics and the monitor started :D :D :D

I put the graphics card and connected the monitor under it and zero image after running win xp

I will dig up the topic a bit by connecting to the thread. I will describe the problem and all proven options in points. The computer is a friend of mine, so now I can't access it. There will be a lot of reading; p.

    LG L1919s monitor
    GF 7300GT graphics card
    Connected with a D-sub cable
    System: Windows XP with SP2

    >>The computer and monitor worked until by itself (this is what the PC owner thinks) the economy mode turned on. After the computer was reset, it was possible to choose how to start Windows. After choosing normal startup, as well as in safe mode, a blue screen popped up for a fraction of a second and the reset was done immediately after the "Windows badge". Let me add that this stamp was jagged and the progress bar was incompletely displayed.

    >>I formatted the disk, installed XP and everything worked until I installed the drivers for the graphics card (from the motherboard so they weren't the latest). After installing the drivers, the computer restarted and the Eco-Mode went straight away without displaying any information.

    >>I connected a Samsung monitor. I could choose how the system should start. After selecting normal startup on Samsung, the standby was turned on. Safe mode was working. I turned off the graphics card in the device manager and reconnected LG. Everything displayed normally. I uninstalled the drivers and installed the latest from the nVidia website. The problem reappeared (standby mode immediately after turning on the computer).

    >>I reconnected my Samsung, turned off the graphics card and reconnected the LG. I wanted to leave it at the beginning so that they could use the computer. I installed all the programs, the last reboot of the computer and ... again the economy mode (I did not turn on the card in the manager). From that moment, even on Samsung, the economy mode appears immediately (at the beginning there was a message regarding the resolution.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other graphics card to check if it will work. I did not try to connect with a DVI cable or a d-sub -> DVI adapter due to closed stores.
Someone wrote above that the computer turned on when he had time to rest. In this case, it does not work on the second day either.
    Any suggestions?

    Hello
I will also dig out the topic as I cannot bear this problem further.
Namely, I have an LG Flatron E2442 monitor, a Gainward GeForce 460 GTX SE windows 7 graphics card ...
The monitor is connected with a D Sub cable and, as in the previous cases, the saving mode turns on at some point ... Sometimes while playing, sometimes when turning on or surfing the Internet
    Latest drivers

I also have a problem with the LG Flatron L1953TR monitor. I want it to pick me up from the DVi link. I've tried many ways and the SOURCE button doesn't help. As some wrote, you need to reinstall the monitor. The problem is that I can not find the right drivers anywhere and if I can find it, I need to install a paid program to download this driver everywhere, I am already crazy with these paid stupid programs .. Can someone help me? Some link or something ..
