I don't know what to do as I always cleaned the mower for the winter etc.
In the spring I usually drain the oil (I used Mindland oil) unfortunately it was missing so I went to the store it turned out that the oil does not come down but gave me some mineral oil I poured it and ignited it from the mower (radiator through the outlet and cracks) white smoke comes out even after turning
oil tank smoke was coming out mower still running
after a few firings at the beginning the smoke came out immediately and now after 20 seconds it goes out.

I searched on google but there were other defects described there.

help because the grass is already growing

It's probably better to change the oil before winter.....
And you didn't tilt this equipment excessively - the ones with an oil pan don't like it. (I used to have a self-propelled four-stroke Honda with an oil pan and I had to borrow a two-stroke Cinderella from my neighbor to mow the slope - it could be tilted during work only so that the petrol wouldn't spill out....

For me it is even, I read that the mineral ones are hard to spread, but if the engine works normally for the first 20 seconds, why does it stop spreading, I'm afraid to add more oil after it shows full and too much is also not good.

I guess the shot at 10 just stopped smoking topic can be closed.

    Good morning.
I have the same problem, after starting the tractor, white, smelly smoke began to come out of the front (burnout). I suspect that the fault is flooding after tilting the tractor. Will the same "burn out" and be OK or do I need to clean it?
    Regards

    If it's a car, yes.
For "seasonal" equipment, a better option is to replace immediately before the season.
The oil ages from the moment it is poured into the engine, in a closed, original packaging it can stand for up to three years.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Briggs & Stratton (B&S) engine mower emitting white smoke on startup after using mineral oil and winter storage. The user reported that after pouring mineral oil, the mower produced smoke immediately upon ignition, which later diminished after several attempts. Responses suggest that the smoke may be due to improper tilting during oil changes, causing oil to enter the muffler and cylinder. It is advised to only tilt four-stroke mowers backward and to change the oil before winter storage to prevent such issues. The consensus is that the mineral oil is not the cause of the smoke, and it should stop once the excess oil burns off.
