    with specials I choose instruments / immo
    reads the current mileage which converts to km the car is in the UK
    enters a new mileage
    I click change.

    the central screen shows the info that the mileage has changed, but the mileage on the odometer is not changed.

    I have a similar problem as my colleague n0w3y_pl only in the audi a8 from 1995. In that counter, the ECU reset cannot be done programmatically. I also disconnected it from the battery. I have tried a dozen times, also changing the eeprom manually and re-saving. and no effect. Immediately after the record was made, I have a message that everything is ok, but when I read it, it reads the old mileage. In the pass, I can confirm that I had similarly that the ecu reset from the program level helped and then the mileage value changed without any problems after turning the ignition on again

    I attached a regular vag kkl cable to the car and it turned out that I can read the mileage from the meter and, as before in the program, I have a message that the mileage changed correctly, but in fact he did not do it.
    So now the question: what could be the cause? if maybe the drivers, if the cable is damaged. or maybe it is an ordinary kkl but how can I check it?

    After changing the mileage, press RESET ECU. We disconnect the facebook as the meter has not corrected, we disconnect the accumulator for a min. 30s. And we are enjoying the new course

    I bought something like "VAG K + Can Commander 1.4 China", installed VCDS and at the first attempt to run there was a message whether to update the firmware?
    I confirmed that it is, and now it detects the cable as "Ross-Tech Direct USB Interface), it does not create a virtual COM port and it is not possible to establish a connection with it.
