    Hello,
for a week, when driving on gas, the gas diode / switch flashes for me and it was only always on, I filled up with the thought that it was the electronic peephole that hung up, and then ...

    something broke?

the driver is landi les 98A

if you are sure that the car is running on gas, the flashing probably means that there is no gas (reserve sensor damaged)

There may be a short circuit on the cable from the reserve or? Check if the ignition is turned off every 30-40 seconds does not flash for a moment because then it means that the forest has finished its life. It's best to cut the cable from the reserve and you'll see, you can always solder it back.

problem solved blown fuse - the installation had 3 fuses, including one camouflaged in the wiring harness, which I did not notice

    Hello,
    I have a similar problem.
I recently bought Lagune I for gas and with a full tank the LED was lit continuously several times. Mostly, however, it flashes uniformly every second. The worst thing is that the car is very weak, and recently, while driving on GAZ, the petrol light came on. What's up??

A flashing light at the LANDI LES 98a indicates a gas reserve. If there is gas in the tank, there is a problem with the reserve indication only, a damaged glass on the multivalve next to the cylinder, the reserve signal cable - ground short. This can be easily checked by disconnecting the reserve ... If you write something ... I will help ...

I will try to check it somehow, my second thing about this gas is to connect to the computer. I tried all the available soft on the electrode and there is no connection all the time. I have a gas cable, he also tried his programs and nothing. I will still try to connect via the DOS emulator. Unless there is something else that I don't know about LANDI 98a.

Now the question is what cable you used to connect. Landi les has a slightly wider cube for connecting to a computer and other pins. The most commonly used cable has an 8-pin cube and the les has a 10-pin cube and a bit different pins are used.

Today I am going to connect to the computer again, I will test on these two terminals. And what's the best program, I would need it by 14.
Yesterday I dug into the tank, and noticed that the dipstick cover was moving, which is why the LED is just dumb. What should be the correct position, I added a photo, now it does not flash when the tank is full.

2 cables go to this indicator. One is ground and the other signal is led to the gas computer. The glass that you can see works on the principle of a short circuit ... you have a magnet on the tip and under the influence of a magnetic field it shortens to ground ... the farther this sensor is from the magnet, the later the reserve will light up (i.e. the flashing diode). I must admit that it is difficult to set these reserves, they are very sensitive. it is best to connect the meter with one end to the signal cable, the other to ground ... set it to 200 ohms, preferably on an empty tank and by turning, approach the magnet until the value appears on the meter. In short, a short circuit. after refueling, the magnet will move away (the indicator light is constantly on). Along with the depletion of gas in the tank, the magnet will get closer until the indicator light starts flashing (reserve). I do not know if I explained quite accurately ... how to write something ... As for the program, I'm not at work today, I can't check what program I'm using for these installations, I just don't remember

in LANDI LES 98A it is also possible to start the car only on gas, for this purpose, after turning on the ignition, hold the green button for a few seconds,
this may come in handy if the fuel pump ...

I have a switch with 4 LEDs in this installation. It is not the flat version.
can more diodes be soldered to these diodes?
I mean that, apart from the original ones, there should be other lights. The additional consumption is about 20mA

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a flashing gas diode/switch issue in a Landi LES 98A vehicle. The original poster, Krzysiek, experienced a flashing indicator while driving on gas, suspecting a malfunction in the electronic peephole. Responses suggest that the flashing could indicate a damaged reserve sensor or a short circuit in the wiring. A blown fuse was identified as the root cause of the problem, which was resolved after checking the installation's fuses. Other users shared similar experiences, indicating that a flashing light typically signifies a gas reserve issue, and troubleshooting steps included checking the reserve signal cable and connecting to a computer for diagnostics. The importance of using the correct cable for computer connection was also highlighted.
