    I got a central heating engine and there was a problem! When the pump starts, it knocks terribly in the pipes, and especially in the differential valve "" I think it's there. "It looks like the ball of the differential valve bounces hitting the housing !!! I have to block the pump for a moment, so that it does not pump water then it calms down. This only happens when the pump is starting. Is it possible? Please help

    Shorten the distance between the differential valve and the downstream tee. Place the pump on the horizontal bottom. The whole system will lengthen a little, the height will decrease, but the pump will have the power to close the valve.

    The same problem also applies to me. Two days ago I put on a different temperature controller. Until now, I had a simple device that turns on the airflow when the temperature drops below the set value and turns it off when it returns to it. Unfortunately, the coal stove has any inertia and although the temperature is set to e.g. 65. I set up a PID controller and so far the problems with knocking have disappeared because the regulator controls the airflow better and the temperature maintained on the stove is 60 degrees plus or minus 1 degrees. I read on some forum that the knocking is the result of temperature changes and thus thermal expansion of the pipes. The lack of large temperature changes in the system eliminates this problem. At least it helped for me.

    For me, tapping drives me crazy. I have a regulator installed next to each radiator (DIAMOND radiators and regulators - I don't know if it matters). For me, knocking burns with every radiator, or rather with every regulator. I often fly from radiator to radiator and adjust the controls so that the knocking goes away. I noticed that it was knocking as the radiator reaches temperature and is on the verge of switching the water flow through the radiator. Is it the fault of these regulators or do I have a problem with some other element of the entire system?

    I have a slightly different problem and at the same time a question of what could be the cause of it.
    The low block is about 30 years old. Central heating pipes run horizontally in the basement. They knock in cases where - I have had time to diagnose:
    1. people unscrew the valves on the radiators more
    2. Shallow warmer water in the pipes
    The knocks come out in the basement from these horizontal pipes that run through the so-called storage rooms. These are modulated knocks, sometimes faster and slower.

    I have the same problem and I have just reported it to Spółdzielnia Budowlani in Bydgoszcz. We will see what the end result will be, unfortunately, from what I found out, such problems are treated as taboo and the construction company deals with it very reluctantly.
    Some time ago, one of the residents of the cooperative filed a case in court regarding this problem. Unfortunately, I do not know how it ended because the cooperative is silent about it. Maybe someone will know something about this and will respond to the forum.

    Hello. I have a similar problem. I live on the 3rd floor, in a 4-story block, I have 3 rooms. Pipes that shoot terribly for me, but only in two rooms (children's room and bedroom), while in the large room there is blissful silence.
