If you still have a damaged plug, you can gently cut it open with a knife. There should be pieces of cables left.

If you would dismantle the satellite speaker (the one with the switch) and post pictures of the PCB on both sides, I could make a list of these cables for you.

Better delete your last post because some moderator will throw the topic into the trash.
Paste better quality photos taken with a digital camera and not with your mobile phone.

How would you remove this glue from the wires because it obstructs my view and pasted one photo from the side of the wires, it would be ok.

I will try but I do not know if I will tear the wires.

Many thanks for the diagram, I do not have a soldering iron yet because it is borrowed when I do it, I will write it.

The schema is correct. Sorry for the confusion (I connected the cables incorrectly)

After a lot of trial and error, I came to the conclusion that the user Helcia2000 he writes untruth. The color scheme that the user has shared Stanowiak20 it is compatible with my plug and my X-230 set works perfectly and nothing has burnt. I put here a picture where I drew the plug and gave the colors of the wires corresponding to the corresponding pins of the plug.

Attention!! A cable is connected to PIN 5 BLACK THIN which is not exactly an ordinary cable. This is probably an anti-interference shield for the entire signal cable, or simply ground. The cable is covered with a heat-shrinkable sleeve at both ends (hence the inscriptions on the insulation in some cases) and the rest of the cable inside the cable is exposed. The wire is matte black or matte dark gray (looks like a faded black), is not as stiff as the other black wire in the cable, and looks wrinkled.

As this topic touches on my interest in rebuilding the X-230 set, I allowed myself to add a second picture for which I redrawn the "connector" (if it can be called a connector) for the cable with the D-Sub 9 PIN plug, which is placed in the satellite with the voice control and switch. I have described all connections in detail.

This picture will definitely be useful for users whose cable with the plug detached from the satellite.

Well, the picture shows where to connect the colored wires.

PS. There is no such thing as cables, but wires.

I refresh the topic because I had a problem with my speakers and the previous schematics turned out to be wrong, so maybe someone will need it:

Wiring diagram in the plug according to the standard:
    PIN 1 - connected to pin 7
    PIN 2 - purple
    PIN 3 - yellow
    PIN 4 - red
    PIN 5 - green
    PIN 6 - gray
    PIN 7 - connected with pin 1
PIN 8 - blue and black
    PIN 9 - brown

A screen of thin wires is soldered to the plug housing.

    Regards.

For me, the cable that connected with the subwoofer fell off, I cut the plug and soldered the cables directly to the solders on the motherboard, I glued the gap in the housing with mounting glue, now everything dries up :) I wanted to throw the speakers in the trash, they did not work at all, and now they work, so it is possible :) thanks for all the diagrams posted here, best regards

    Hello.
Mess7 I think that's the whole truth about this magic box and that's how it works.
It is worth closing this topic :D

Sorry for refreshing, but I have a question like this:
I have a similar problem as the author of the topic, because my dog bit this plug too. Where can you buy it?

Sorry for the refresh, but I have the same speaker, but I would like to connect the speakers directly to the board. Satellites and cable are long in the basket, but the loudspeaker is working and I would like to know where or what cables to connect other satellites to.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around repairing the Logitech X-230 speaker system after a dog damaged the cable connecting the satellites to the subwoofer. The original poster seeks a pin diagram for the RS-232 connections. Various users provide diagrams and advice on identifying the correct pin connections, with some suggesting dismantling the satellite speaker for better access to the PCB. Users share images of the wiring and discuss the importance of distinguishing between different cable colors and functions, particularly the ground and signal wires.
