    Hello.
    I have a question..
The guest wants to provide him with a power supply for electric roller shutters in the house.
He also wants to be able to set the clock to close and open at a preset time.
What cables should I lay and how many?
The guest does not know yet what roller shutters will be installed.
Is it enough if I put a 5x1.5mm cable from the switchgear to the point where the main control will be, and 5x1.5mm from this point to each roller shutter?
And 4x1.5 mm from the button by the window to the roller shutter?
From which side must the roller shutter be powered?
I am asking for a hint of people who have already performed such installations.

Unfortunately, this link in Polish does not open.
Maybe someone could describe to me what the wiring should look like?

    Hello.
The F&F or Zamela website describes the roller shutter controllers that allow both individual and central control.

As for roller shutter controls, there are so many solutions for companies, recently I have come across a very interesting roller shutter control from this company: http://www.inel.gda.pl/pl/produkty/sterowanie
As for the power supply of roller shutters, I always specify the side of the motor when ordering the roller shutter, and it is usually on the same side as the shutter actuation button. If two roller shutters are next to each other, e.g. a door to a balcony and a window, the power supply runs along the edge, i.e. one to one on the left side to the other on the right. Generally, when wiring the roller shutters, it is best to have the control for them selected and possibly the company that will manufacture / install them.

    Hello
But tell me, if I put 5x1.5mm in series from one breaker to the next and 5x1.5mm from the breaker to the drive, will it be enough for individual and group control?
    Thank you

Buddy, take a piece of paper and draw your situation and the situation will clear up immediately, how many wires do you need in your memory, you will not do it

    Hello .
Each roller shutter is equipped with a motor with a module that changes the direction of motor rotation, so in order for the motor to turn clockwise, one wire is needed to the left, the second wire, N is the third wire and the fourth PE, so 4 X 1.5 mm2 is needed.
The medium-sized roller shutter is equipped with a single-phase motor with a power of 60 W, so there is no need for the wire to be thicker than 1.5 mm2. In order for each roller shutter to be controlled separately, a 3 x cable should be laid for each window, and here there are no restrictions as most of the roller shutter controllers use the control impulse from the N wire. You put each button, including each roller shutter, to the switchboard where the relays controlling the roller shutter operation will be installed, I installed str - 412 F&F. You have two control rails there. The first is the button by the window only for one roller shutter, the second is the button for general closing or opening, you can also connect to it an impulse from the real-time clock, but you should use impulse relays because the clock gives a continuous impulse. I have installed the PS 02 F&F. Everything is flashing to this day and the customer, out of happiness, did not pee when he found out that he did not have to fly and close each roller blind separately from only one place and how many times the clock saved the property when the guest forgot to close the roller blinds.

Please correct your spelling, otherwise the post will end up in the trash. [Luke]

    Thanks for your help, colleagues.
    The installation is complete.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the installation of electric roller shutters, focusing on power supply requirements, wiring configurations, and control mechanisms. Users inquire about the appropriate cable types and sizes for connecting roller shutters to a power source and control switches. Recommendations include using 5x1.5mm cables for main connections and 4x1.5mm cables for individual roller shutter controls. It is emphasized that the motor's power specifications dictate the cable thickness, with 1.5mm being sufficient for typical installations. The importance of selecting the correct side for power supply and the necessity of planning the wiring layout are also highlighted. Various brands and controllers, such as F&F and Zamela, are mentioned as options for managing roller shutter operations.
