Hi, I know there are loads of topics on this already but somehow I can't put all the information together to get an answer.
I am approaching a renovation and would also like to lay the wiring for the roller shutters. At the moment I would like to be able to close/open the roll-down shutters with a button from each room, be able to close all the roll-down shutters in the house with one button, but also be able to expand e.g. with a grenton system so that I can close the roll-down shutters remotely or depending on the weather.
I'm wondering what kind of wires to run to each roller shutter, the switch and the main switchboard.

Recently, only cables for power supply have been installed in Nieczech.
The control is a remote control usually fixed to the window but without a cable.
    It may be worth considering...

It depends on what kind of roller shutter controllers you plan to give, whether they are canned or rail-mounted in the switchboard.

You can provide a box next to the window into which you will pull the cable from the roller shutter and the local control button. In this box you can provide a canned controller, e.g. F&F STR-1, so you will connect 230V power supply and the cable for central control.

If you do not want to make a box and put controllers in it, you can put an F&F STR-421 controller on a din rail in the switchboard and pull wires to the switchboard from the roller blind motor and from the local key.

I used a Schelly 2.5 controller in the switchboard on the rail. From the motors and from the local buttons, I pulled the wires to the switchboard and connected everything there. I have central control from my phone, as Schelly 2.5 has an app for phones and you can control the roller shutters from your phone. I also configured the automatic closing and opening in the Schelly cloud via the app. In addition, I grouped the roller shutters and have central closing of all or individual groups.

Similar to Schelly, Zamel SRW-01 works only on a different app - less functionality.

Choose a controller and only then can you plan the installation.

It appears that the Author is not so much planning the installation,
but would like to ensure flexibility in the future.
However, this is a contradiction in terms, because without a concrete installation now
there is no roller shutter control today and in the future there will be no
    anything to expand/change.
The greatest possibilities are provided by two wires: the one feeding the roller shutter
and the control from the button - both to the switchboard....

A lot of flexibility is given to the Schelly 2.5 controller I have convinced myself by having a lot of functions connected to it and the possibility of integration with, for example, Domoticz. Working and settings in the cloud also give some possibilities. Central or group buttons can be implemented using other schelly cubes if only 230V and wifi are available.

I placed them in the switchboard because I didn't want to spread them over the boxes for the sake of ensuring good wifi coverage.
