    Hello
I have a problem with my pc.
after pressing the switch, the computer turns on for a moment, the fans start and everything goes out. I have to turn it off on the power supply and only turn it on after about 30 seconds, otherwise it will not turn on even for a moment. The motherboard came back from the warranty (replacement of the network card), and at the same time I bought Phenom II 550, I unlocked its cores (now it has 3 because when unlocking the fourth windows 7 it did not want to start the blue screen).
    Chieftec 560W power supply
Card BFG GTS 250 OC 1GB
    Ram Kingston DDR2 4GB 2x2GB Slim
    Network card
    Creative Audigy 2ZS music card
    2 x 1SATA 1ATA disks

Before replacing the prock and returning the motherboard from the warranty, there was no problem.
    Please help
    greetings

    Hello!!
Check if the cooling is well pressed to the processor, and if the switch is ok, e.g. not pressed.

    greetings

Of course, have you checked that everything is well connected to the MB as well as the MB and GPU power supply?

I would bet on the power supply, the power supply is dry?

Yes, I checked everything, but when I had an AMD Athlon 600+ (2x3000mhz), the cooling was cooler and this is scythe big shuriken, it should also do well, paste is arctic silver 5. Can I do an OCCT test and upload screenshots here ??

but I forgot to add that when you try to turn on the computer (after 30 seconds) it happens the second time or the computer works normally and works all day without a problem, for example, now I write from it

Do so, reattach the cooling of the paste to the processor, apply as much as a grain of rice because at 99% of this is the fault, put the computer on its side and check if it is the same.

At first glance, I would be betting on a heating up processor.
But the power supply may also be overloaded.
I propose to check the parameters (power) of the new and old prock, and compare the power of the power supply to the power consumed before and after replacement.

How old is the power supply, did you measure the voltage with a meter during the OCCT test?

The power supply is half a year old

The motherboard is the range790x-ud3p supports the latest 6 core phenomes and I uploaded the latest bios a week ago

Amazingly, according to the manufacturer, Phenom 550 (current) consumes 80W and Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 125W or 90W, which is less, but I emphasize that my 550 now has 3 cores and I did not raise its voltage

I had the same on the old album. It turned out that faulty capacitors on the motherboard were the culprit.

    1) Take out the CPU and memory and put them back in again. Check if it works.
    2) Unplug everything possible from the board (except CPU, memory) and switch on selectively and see what "bites".

Sometimes it seems to me that the problem is with the music card.
For now, yesterday I changed the paste on the prock. I have installed a new chipset cooler and nothing is normal so far

Start browsing selectively from sound to memory card drives, because your culprit is probably somewhere here.
