Hello, I have a problem with my scrap:
When I press the power button, the computer boots up and after a few seconds it goes off and then again and again all the time. Previously, as it happened, I pressed the back of the CMOS case to reset the bios (I thought it was because of the CPU's o / c), but this time it doesn't work. The Kompter turned on earlier, it was stable, it did not overheat. Previously, it also happened that when turning on the windows boot screen, such a dash at the top on the left was blinking and you had to turn it on again, or that it only started the second time (as if it was resetting during booting).

    config:
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K, Scythe Mugen II
    Motherboard: MSI P67A-GD55 Intel P67 LGA 1155
    RAM: Goodram 2x 2 GB
Graphics: 2x Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti oc
Hard disk: Samsung SpinPoint F3 1 TB (SATA II, 32MB cache, NCQ)
Housing: Cooler Master Dominator II 692 Lite
Power supply: Antec Truepower New TP-750 750W 80 Plus Bronze

Standard procedure already described in hundreds of posts:
    - check the board power section for swollen capacitors
-measure the power supply voltage meter in Molex
-check all pins in the sockets and tightening the cooling to the processor
-remove one of the memory dice (leave only 1) -later vice versa
If still no effects, remove the board from the case and connect with the minimum equipment on the table (disk, 1 ram chip, processor, power supply, graphics).

Try to start your computer in safe mode and remove unnecessary devices.

Tell your friend how to do it if the computer does not start ?.

    The capacitors look approx.
I thought that the voltage of the power supply is measured on the computer that is turned on, under load. how do I do that? face when the computer starts?

Are all plugs firmly seated in their sockets? Take out each one and put it back in again.
Have you tried to take out everything redundant as I described in the post above?

    strange things are happening
I put the computer horizontally on the chair and fired. this time he managed to run longer before the reset and it turned on the 4th time.
maybe the cooling is bad for the prock

So disassemble all the cooling, clean the heat sink and the processor thoroughly from the paste, put on a new one and reassemble thoroughly and neatly again.

I recommend just checking the processor :) change it to a different or weaker one because maybe your motherboard is not compatible with the currently plugged in processor

Topic summary

The user is experiencing a recurring restart issue with their computer, which features an Intel Core i5-2500K processor, MSI P67A-GD55 motherboard, and dual Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti OC graphics cards. Initial troubleshooting steps included resetting the BIOS and checking for overheating, but the problem persists. Responses suggest a systematic approach: checking for swollen capacitors on the motherboard, measuring power supply voltages, ensuring all connections are secure, and testing with minimal components. Additionally, users recommend cleaning the CPU cooler and applying new thermal paste, as well as testing with a different processor to rule out compatibility issues.
