Read what the Statoil company writes on this topic, this and more info available at http://www.statoil.pl/

    3. Can light fuel oil be used to drive diesel engines?

Although the physicochemical properties of fuel oil allow it to be used to power diesel engines, however, due to tax regulations, it is tantamount to having to pay the difference in excise duty to the tax office.

Some people write in such a way as if driving on the company's diesel has never caused any failure of the engine and accessories, and all that comes down is the fault of the fuel. I used only the legal for a long time and also replaced the injectors, my fuel filter was clogged with crap and paraffin because they changed the price to a winter one, but they were still selling the oil in summer. The engine wears out with age and normally breakdowns also happen. I will slowly try to change supplier  because it's already 3.38 and I won't last a long time and either the car is pegged and I am on the bike. Or ..... None of my clients do not want to accept the argument on my part that I have to raise the prices of my services because the fuel price has become more expensive, so I have no choice:? Such a world, though somehow I am not happy about it :(

When it comes to driving on fuel, I would not advise on new engines because it is a short life and the repair costs are huge.

well, I drove my E-46 on fuel about 200 thousand. kilometers and nothing has broken so far, I do not add any additives, only clean fuel, assuming that the car burns about 8 l OO per 100 km, I save
about 10 PLN after driving 200,000 I saved 20,000 PLN and this is not a small amount so that even if something dies now, the repair costs will not exceed PLN 5,000, so the bill is simple.
I prefer to pour clean fuel than oil of unknown origin for PLN 2. dudes from aso overstated the cost of repair (unless they set up the injection pump for a new one, cost 8000pln, used 2000)
    I greet all opałowców

read it again and think over the guy wrote well !!!

I keep reading to confirm my thesis
Those who run on opal know and say that it is good and even better than it is only illegal.
Those who have never ridden fuel say that it is bad, it spoils the pump and engine.
Let someone write to whom the fuel oil broke the engine.

damn, I still do not know what to choose, maybe someone knows how much repair may cost me (1.7 TD Isuzu engine) if there were actually components for fuel, and I also ask if someone has already died from driving on orenzada?

Don't worry about repairs, just find out where people are filling up and are happy. Tariffs are the best informed. Good fuel is not worse than oil. You just need to know where he is "sure" and you can pour TD. A small addition of oil will not hurt, although it is probably added by a minority of those who ride the "borsch".

I talked to a mechanic, an injection engineer said that he had not found an increase in failure rate in his regular customers who used fuel for over a dozen years.

It used to be better OO cost 0.3ON and no one was picking on, now it's 0.7NO saving 1.20 PLN per liter, but you can drop by for a fast ride.

Shit, my monthly mileage is 3-3.5 thousand km. For the last 3 years, I had 2 inspections and one blockade (they were looking for someone). The probability that I will meet aliens is much higher than I will come across laps with equipment that you will want to rummage in a passenger car. Well, unless they get the info from operational sources (e.g. the Elektroda portal, or a friendly neighbor) I'm trying on now, but I'm getting closer to the decision .....

    Regards

Hello, many people wrote about adding mixol to "wine", opinions on this issue are divided (as in the automotive industry)
The negation of this is the statement that the mixer ignites too quickly, destroying the nozzles of the injectors - the opinion of truck users.
Because winter is approaching, what do you think about the use of fuel additives, specifically diesel. Last winter, my friend froze in the bottle.

And why add additives will freeze something for you and there will be a drama !!!

I found a workaround for the problem :) It's enough to find a guy who drives trucks or in PKS, because I know that they trade crude oil for 2.5 (today's price). I did it and I hope I will buy from him as much as possible and he will continue to trade!

I drove over 50 kkm on Red Bull and nothing bad happened, I added Mixol in the proportion 1: 100 and a double dose of fuel enhancer for the winter (so that no paraffin precipitates).
I had no problems, but only profits: cheap speed and more power :) The car started without any problems at - 17 * C

I know two Opel Vectra 2.0 DTL and VW Passat 1.9 TDI cars.
Both were served with orangeade and the owners had no problems with them, and these are not old diesels, so don't be afraid to just pour as much as possible

And I will honestly say that I already have enough cars with gas installation ... and that they are supposed to be lower costs ,,, supposedly! ..but gas goes up, gas goes up, gas goes up, oil goes up .. so there is Heating Oil left! At the moment I'm trying to find a good OO distributor and I will ride a red bull, what's up and these statements are as many as users ... I'm not going to crash too much faster, considering that I won't be driving a new diesel .. !!!!

brother-in-law does a lot of kilometers on opaline and nothing happens, in fact he does not recommend a new car, an additional condition is oil from a reliable, proven source, it is best to ask taxi drivers

it makes no sense in Poland to consider whether heating oil is burned. there is no gas station in Poland that would not cheat. in Poland there is a mafia legally registered only under official and like orlen etc. oil is so bad at the station and it will not tell you what kind of crap it is
I wish you all good journey :)

Topic summary

The discussion centers around the use of heating oil in vehicles, specifically addressing concerns about its impact on engine components, such as pumps and injectors. Opinions are divided; some users report no negative effects after extensive use of heating oil, while others warn of potential damage due to differences in combustion properties and lubrication. Key points include the legality of using heating oil, the importance of fuel quality, and the recommendation to add oil additives like Mixol to mitigate risks. Users share personal experiences, noting that older engines may tolerate heating oil better than newer models, and emphasize the need for reliable fuel sources to avoid issues like clogging and corrosion.
