Hello I have a Laskomex CD2502 intercom in the tenement house and a message was displayed today EC and ... nothing works, I found such a description in the manual EC: Means that two or more infrared beams are damaged or blocked. hmm but there is nothing infrared with us,! ? What could it be ??

The keyboard works in infrared.

so what ?? keyboard fell off ??

Maybe it just got dusty .... Or some prankster covered the holes with chewing gum.

Look carefully at this transparent frame around the keyboard, in particular at the key markings, 0, C, if it is dusty or stuck, the message EC will appear. If wiping the frame does not help, only the service remains.

And today I had just such a report and the keyboard was very clean (it is only 2 months old). Turning the power off and on helped. However, it does indicate some instability of the keyboard driver.
