You probably didn`t go to school, the more Ah, the better the starter turns.
There should be 2 6v 165Ah batteries in the c-330.
You can have one, but not 74Ah, only 100 or more. Due to the high power consumption, it will not last long due to its small capacity.

If the starter and engine are functional, that`s enough.

It depends on what conditions you intend to use the tractor (at what temperatures it will be started) and what condition the engine is in?

I don`t agree with tomek130, there are also glow plugs that consume a lot of electricity.

It`s also enough for candles, provided it`s properly charged. I`ve been using a used one left by a customer for two years now and it works quite well.

In fact, you can`t fully understand the designers of this machine: a tiny "dynamo" with a power of 150W + large batteries and, on top of that, connected in an unfavorable manner in series. How is it supposed to be recharged (and car owners sometimes worry that their 55Ah won`t recharge their 55Am cars? 8-O )?
If it is financially possible to change it, I support it. However, a larger power supply (alternator) is needed, and speaking of the battery itself, I think there are some analogies to passenger cars.
So, for example, the VW Golf 3 1.9 Diesel, similar capacity, compression ratio even 22:1, which is more than in the Ursus, there are the same glow plugs, and in favor of the Ursus there is also a stress reliever - and the battery recommended for the Golf is 61Ah.
So why wouldn`t it work in Ursus if equal to or greater than 74Ah?

If the electrical system is functional and the engine is in good condition, it will of course be enough. But efficient installation includes, among others: also the generator and, preferably, the alternator and the starter. Large batteries were used precisely because of the inefficient generator and the type of operation of agricultural tractors in the last century. The engine runs for several hours without interruption, so this generator keeps the batteries in usable condition. However, if there is a need to use lighting, the batteries should have a large protection buffer (as the generator barely covers the demand). Nowadays, conditions have changed and we have more efficient batteries, generators, starters, and it is also easier to keep the engine in proper condition, so we can approach the issue differently.

What kind of starter do you have? The power-hungry R7 (the big one), R11, or with a gear.

but you are helping him. The capacity of the battery is simple: how long will it crank, and the starting current is more important, its 680A. let it have up to 45AH with a starting current of 800A and it will be the best. why does it need a large capacity? it has electric windows, an on-board computer, and maybe a hundred lights, unless it has electric heating, but the alternator is still too weak. easy question. what in the C 330 tractor consumes electricity except the starter /which needs a kick once and for all, and not e.g. 1000Ah and 200 starting amperes/lights, wiper /as it is/. it`s less than in a toddler.
simple: don`t look for high capacity, just high starting current.

Buy a battery like the one installed in Lublin. CF1202 120Ah 870A center number.

A battery with a low starting current will not spin fast enough to ignite the engine.
120Ah 870A - PLN 480 And two 6v centers PLN 540. So where will you put such a 12V block?
I don`t know why to change the type of batteries in the C-330 since they are widely available and not the most expensive.
It is better to replace the starter with a high-speed Chinese one for PLN 270.

1 is enough to start the engine has a capacity of 1950 cm3.
2 and what do you mean by the question, the greater the capacity or starting current.

Read the posts above. After all, the author writes that it has a high-speed starter with a gear. :) And besides, what kind of "block" if the battery from Lublin has similar dimensions to one of these two 6V ones :) Exactly, it is CG1102 110Ah 750A which the wholesaler replaces with 120Ah.

I would also recommend the one from Lublin, of course, the center. These Czech high-speed starters are good, not cheap Chinese junk.

But Czech costs over PLN 400.
Besides, what`s the point of having 2000 cm3 if it has 2 long-stroke pistons?

    Are you sure it`s 3kW? 3000w/12V=250A

Topic summary

The discussion centers around the suitability of a 12V 74Ah 680A VARTA BLUE DYNAMIC battery for a C-330 tractor. Responses indicate that while the battery may work if the starter and engine are in good condition, it is generally recommended to use larger batteries (100Ah or more) due to the high power consumption of the tractor. The original design of the C-330, which typically uses two 6V 165Ah batteries, suggests that a higher capacity is preferable for reliable performance. Factors such as the condition of the engine, the type of starter, and the electrical system's efficiency are crucial in determining battery adequacy. Some participants suggest alternatives like the CF1202 120Ah 870A battery from Lublin, emphasizing the importance of starting current over capacity. Overall, the consensus leans towards using a battery with higher starting current and capacity for optimal performance.
