    Everything is new, unpacked today.

The socket and contacts were cleaned, but it didn't help.
I will check the card tomorrow on another computer, because the motherboard of the one I am using now does not have a suitable slot.

Sorry, but I was not looking for how this card is built, but you write that you plugged the 6pin plug ... in my older card there are 2 6 pin plugs. Maybe you also have 2 slots on the card, and you have plugged one?

Hello. I sent the card under the guarantee two weeks ago and today I got a reply that I would get my money back. Now I wonder what to buy in return? Would you like to take the same model, but I would buy it in my city. Please advise me in choosing. greetings

If you fill in the profile correctly, we will know what city it is. ;-)
I can recommend ASUSA, I have HD6850 and no problems.
You were generally unlucky with this GB, it's also a good producer.

I am from Leszno and I will rather buy at www.cyberinfo.pl, because this store has the cheapest prices in the city. If you can, read their offer and advise. thanks in advance

Topic summary

The user assembled a computer using an MSI 870-C45 motherboard, AMD Phenom II X4 955 processor, and a Gigabyte Radeon HD6850 graphics card, but encountered a no display issue upon startup. Despite all fans spinning, there was no image on the monitor, and the system speaker was unresponsive. Suggestions included checking power connections, ensuring the graphics card was properly seated, resetting the CMOS, and testing components outside the case. The user confirmed that the speaker emitted beeps indicating a graphics card error when the card was removed. After testing the graphics card in another system, it was determined to be faulty, leading to a discussion about replacement options, with recommendations for ASUS and Gigabyte brands.
