    I have a LEMET 120 l boiler with a heater. I also bought a stove with a feeder where I need to connect a DHW temperature sensor to it. I am asking for advice where I can connect such a sensor, because the controller manual says to place this sensor in the capillary in the boiler, but this boiler does not have one. The boiler has an external HUW temperature indicator and an electric heater with a thermostat and regulator. Can you connect to a gauge or thermostat.

    Hello. The rule is that the sensor is mounted in the capillary, most boilers do not have a capillary, but only a place for its assembly (free outlet with a 1/2 inch thread). The capillary must be purchased and installed in the boiler. If the boiler does not have a free inlet, the domestic hot water outlet can be used as a last resort.

    I do not know this particular heater, but most often in such situations I install the boiler controller sensor in the capillary of the electric heater sensor.

    Exactly as my colleague writes above, I reworked the drawing earlier, I will post it now ;)

    @supermario1

    did you manage to connect this temperature sensor to this boiler?
    I am facing the problem of choosing a boiler right now and this message will help me make decisions.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting a Domestic Hot Water (DHW) temperature sensor to a LEMET 120L boiler, which lacks a capillary for sensor installation. Users suggest that while the manual recommends placing the sensor in a capillary, many boilers only have a threaded outlet for such connections. If no free inlet is available, the domestic hot water outlet may be used as an alternative. Some participants recommend connecting the sensor to the electric heater's thermostat or gauge, while others inquire about the feasibility of disconnecting the existing temperature indicator to facilitate the connection. Visual aids and diagrams are shared to illustrate potential solutions.
