Hello, my network card broke, they replaced me with a new one. Everything is elegant, but when I connect the network cable, the diode just blinks and writes that it is disconnected, on the other computer it works normally, please help.

Probably there are no drivers uploaded.
Install them and it should be ok :)

The guy who did this to me on the website said that he would upload the drivers, but he would try

It looks ok. On the other hand, what do you connect the cable to (modem, router)

Router, I will add that on other computers, the internet works elegantly. I do not know what is with it, the diode blinks and once writes that it downloads ip and after a while again that it is not connected

Maybe my cable is too long?

Check if you have "automatic IP address retrieval" set in card properties.

I have, I doubt that it is something with the settings, it just blinks and is connected once and not

Original or made cable? Maybe it's worth earning RJka again.

I have no idea, the cable is 4 years old on the second computer, but maybe because there is an old card, do you think that if I bought a new cable, it would blink? how much can such something cost?

I can't guarantee you that :( but you have to check.

Yes, replace it in the end, this cable will definitely work.

If it works on that cable on another computer, it's absolutely not the cable's fault! I have the same situation and it is a software thing because I put a new power cable on PCI and then the same and the cables and switches are fine. If I find out what the solution is, I will let you know.

I had a similar situation on one laptop, it flashed on a stationary one on a new network card, it worked once in a dozen, it helped to re-earn the RJ-45 tip at the end of the cable.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user experiencing issues with a newly installed network card, where the connection indicator blinks and shows a disconnected status despite the network cable functioning on other computers. Initial suggestions include checking for driver installation and ensuring the network card settings allow for automatic IP address retrieval. The user also considers the possibility of the cable being too long or faulty, although it works on another computer. Further advice includes re-terminating the RJ-45 connector and verifying the cable's integrity. The consensus leans towards a software issue rather than a hardware fault, as the cable operates correctly with other devices.
