If you want to protect something, buy a decent UPS, it is less likely that you will miss something ...

As for the installation, not old and well-made are relative concepts ...
Do you have a residual current device?

As for the switches, I do not trust that the cable removed from the socket is always safer ...

If a strip is rather something decent ... in the cheap ones there is an ordinary voltage stabilizer (capacitor and coil :P )

I used to buy something similar for printers, but there were also major incidents at that time, I will not say how much it works.

I had something like this - it was in this one that my switch burned out. How do these APCs relate to Lestar? Does it make no sense to buy a slat for a computer?
Are they "smaller"? I would prefer to have even 3 sockets for TV.

I didn't have Lestar and I didn't take it apart ... it's hard for me to say something.

And in this APC it was surely a switch? I know they have a power cut-off system after a filter failure.

"Always" not enough sockets, the more so as sometimes the neighboring ones can be used (some larger power supply / transformer, or a control clock).

Ooh, that's some news. I do not know this type of installation.
Will I get a description of it? :D

The main question is whether the building (premises) has surge protectors.
In the absence of such protectors, this strip will be another element to "evaporate".
If there are protectors, I would think more about using an additional D-type protector for this type of equipment.
Optionally, you can also invest in an on-line UPS.
Because these types of strips provide dubious protection against overvoltage and are more suitable for filtering interference.

It should be mentioned, however, that there is no 100% protection against the storm.

It makes sense, a good skirting board is worth buying. On the one hand, it is limited (usually to class D), but overvoltage protection, on the other, an external filter against connected devices suppresses interference from the installation (e.g. a neighbor's microwave oven), on the other hand, the same filter suppresses interference from operating devices that can get into the installation .
Even if a power strip falls from overvoltage, it costs PLN 100, not thousands, which the equipment costs.

The Lestar and HSK Data products are quite comparable, although of course they are slightly different.
Lestar generally has slightly better anti-interference filters, while HSK Data probably has slightly better surge protection systems.
Guided by local patriotism, I support HSK Data :D .
When choosing, you simply need to define what you want to emphasize, what should be a priority (it can also be a warranty period or insurance).
