    Hello,

I apologize in advance if the thread is already solved somewhere, but... I couldn't find it.
I need to measure the resistance of the motherboard (GA-M61PME-S2P), but I cannot find a description of the values that should be when the board is OK. I found the voltage values, but they are ambiguous, the computer shows no signs of life. I don't know if this is the right way, but I think it's possible to measure the resistance on the Main socket, but I don't know how.

    Help, please.

How do you want to measure the resistance of an integrated circuit or the entire power supply system?
    For what?
    Not the way.
Buy a new disc (after confirming that it is damaged).

If you want to check the motherboard, connect it to the power supply and see if there is any reaction, i.e. whether the fans are spinning or whether there is a BIOS reaction through the system speaker. If that's all, connect the monitor and see if anything is displayed.

Thank you very much for your answers.
As for "does the fan rotate?" - well, it barely twitches, and it only blinks from time to time, not every time. However, I'm not sure if it's the disc or the "power" button (I checked by omitting the button, but...... I don't know if there is a difference) or processor, and I cannot transfer it to another computer.
There is no BIOS response, the speaker is silent.
Besides, I also hope that I won't teach something on this occasion.

Looks like a short circuit on the board. Check what voltages you have on the board and if they exist at all. Measure the resistance with an ohmmeter on the ATX socket and +12V for voltages +5V, +12V and +3.3V in relation to ground. Are the capacitors on the board swollen?

no, the capacitors are (visually) ok. As for the ohms - what should these values be (where to get the second parameter). This is exactly what I'm looking for.
As for tension, when it appears, sometimes it's ok, but... when it appears and, unfortunately, it "disappears" later. :-( .

The voltages, once the disc is able to run, are +/- ok. However, there is no "beep", as I understand it, responsible for the video card. This one is integrated on this board. Does this mean that the whole thing is thrown in the trash anyway?
