    Hello
For some time now, the D-Link DIR-615 router has been picking up the address 169.254.6.21
on ports 137 and 138 (NetBios service).
    Hence my query:
    - what is this address?
    - what is it for, if it's some kind of control address.

IP - 169.254.6.21 - what is this address and / or what it is for

The router is used by computers with XP, Vista x64 and Android devices.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Generally, mostly Windows, but APIPA is more general and I think it is introduced in Anroid as well.

For some reason, something does not get an IP address from DHCP and starts to use an address from auto-configuration. What is this? Is this your computer or is someone trying to connect to Wi-Fi? etc ... You have to figure it out yourself.

    Thanks for the clarification.
One of the computers has a limit of Internet connection hours and it probably sends packets which are blocked.
Logging into the network is by MAC address and using encryption.
This IP address enters the router over the LAN.
