Hello, now I have a question from a different barrel, not about my electricity and adventures with the LEW-11 prepayment meter (although this story is somewhat related to it)
Well, there has just been an overload in my apartment and my electricity has turned off, to unlock it I have to press any key on the meter because now it displays the error "ab". There would be no problem with it if it were not for the fact that on Saturday the electricians, when they replaced the electrical installations in the cage, also replaced the old door from the power boxes (in the old one, my glass was just removed and I had access to the meter from the cage). I found out from the electrician that now, to top up the meter, I have to buy a key to the energy box (triangular) in the electric store, but it was too late to go to the store and, as a spite, there was an overload on Sunday evening when I needed electricity the most because I needed it for tomorrow a lot of materials from the Internet ...
Help me how to open it without this key :( ?

I assume you have permission from that electrician to open this box. You can try it with small pliers or skillfully with two screwdrivers. But, of course, gently so as not to damage the box. Possibly ask someone else on the cage who has similar problems - maybe they have a key.

Alternatively - make a copy of the triangle from the modeling clay box, boil it and try to open it - if it does not chip.

And the counter can also be topped up through the window - with the TV remote control.

Of course, you must have the right to open this mailbox. And remember that you can't dig around in anything - it is a threat to your safety.

Are the new doors not fast? If they have, you can unlock the counter with the RC5 code, without opening it.

My guess is that I need a permit, but of course I do not have one (the electrician did not even inform me that I must have one; /). We have similar ideas, I was on the cage and the neighbor also has such a meter and also has such a problem, but also tomorrow he will go to the store to get the key. I tried screwdrivers ... And as for topping up with a remote control, can I do it with any remote? I have a fairly new LG TV, can it work?
And as for the fumbling in the box, I realize that, apart from the keyboard of my meter, you should not touch anything.

For the RC-5 code, in my opinion, there are remote controls from Elemis as well as usually cheap TV sets from the supermarket. Any universal remote control can also be set in this way.

Thanks, gentlemen, my remote did not work, but my neighbor's remote from Philips worked; D
