    Hello.
I'm making a fence. I want to install an intercom with a magnetic lock and an automatic gate.
Could anyone tell me how many wires the gate needs and how many intercoms need the maximum number of wires, because I do not know yet whether it will be an intercom with or without a camera.
It is important for me now whether to connect 230V to the intercom or not.
And to make sure that there is no shortage of cables, because there can always be more.

Usually, 6 wires are enough for an intercom, add 2 for the electromagnet, 3 for the power supply of the automatic gate and do not forget at least 3 for the lighting. You connect the 230V intercom, but at home, you do not need to lead to the gate. I honestly don't know what to do with the camera.

that is, 6 wires in total, only 3 wires as power supply and 3 as signals. Or so?
And for the lamp, these are the 3 wires that are to be 230V or some other power supply and where is it connected to the engine or at home to the switch to open the gate?

Up to the intercom itself, 6 wires can be tz. crossover for this two min. 0.75 mm for the electromagnet for the wicket, 3x 1.5 mm for lighting next to the gate, wicket - the switch by the door. On the other hand, when it comes to opening the gate, I thought that you would give an automatic machine which only needs a 3x 1.5 mm power supply, but if you only want to give a motor ?? then you have to give 4x 1.5 mm and two monostable switches for closing and opening. But to be honest it is a bit strange idea to give only a motor to open the gate.

    Hello
I will refresh the topic, because today I struggled with the intercom at my parents. Ie: I was replacing the handset with a new one and I had a problem with 6 wires, what and where.
I hope it will serve someone. In this topic, the handset I put on also supports garage doors and a wicket with an electromagnetic lock.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the wiring requirements for installing an intercom system with a magnetic lock and an automatic gate. It is suggested that typically 6 wires are needed for the intercom, with an additional 2 wires for the electromagnet and 3 wires for the automatic gate's power supply. The importance of including extra wires for future needs is emphasized. The intercom can be connected to 230V, but it is noted that this voltage does not need to be run to the gate. Various wire specifications are mentioned, including the use of 0.75 mm and 1.5 mm cables for different components. A specific intercom model, "UNIFON WEKTA TK7," is recommended for its compatibility with garage doors and electromagnetic locks.
