    Hello.

As this is my first forum post, I would like to welcome all users.

I am in the process of installing electrical wiring at home and I would like to immediately prepare myself for the future assembly of a sliding gate and a videophone.

Which cables I would have to take from my home to the future gate so that there would be no problems later.
I would like to be able to open the gate and the gate with a video intercom from the house. At the gate, a lock with a cipher to open the gate. The gate opens on the remote control.

So much I've read that the power supply to the gate with a 3x1,5 cable and probably a video cable (FTP?) Will be needed for the videophone.

Which cables should be connected to the electrical switchboard?
Will I need a switchboard for the gate and the video door?

    Thank you in advance

Take the peszel, arot out of the switchgear, or how to use a 40-mm diameter recess outside the house after a fairly straight route. Up to one turn. In the future, additional cables can be easily pulled in.
Video door phone cables depend on the equipment used. Looking from the supply it would be: twisted pair of 5 categories (it can be UTP), 4x1mm2, additionally YTDY 8x0,5 or the other twisted pair.
All cables must be in the earth version!

You will need a power supply for the entry phone and maybe a central unit - it depends on the chosen equipment.

I wrote only about the intercom. There are intercoms that only one pair of twisted-pair wires is enough for, and there are intercoms that need a few strands, plus a thicker cable to power the electric strike. You also write about the coded lock, if it is separate from the intercom, it also has to be somehow powered and controlled.
So either now you will determine what will be the intercom installed or you have to give with a large supply.

3x1,5mm2 should be enough to power the door. Let specialists of gates speak here, because I am only occasionally assembling them.
I would also add twisted pair or two to the gate, if you plan to open the gate from the intercom or control it by alarm or home automation.

Remember the cables from the gate switch for photocells 6x0,5.

    All "earth" cables!

If you want lighting on the posts of the gate, then additional cables. :)

As I wrote earlier, you can now mount the pipe itself from the switchboard to the outside of the house, and then pull the necessary cables into it.
