    Hello
I have a XBox 360 wireless controller. I wanted to connect it to a PC via Bluetooth. Can it be done with some program and driver?
I know that there are special USB adapters for wireless controllers, but before I consider buying it, I wanted to find out if I could pair it with a PC via Bluetooth to USB.
    greetings

I used and read, they write that you can only use the USB transmitter, but these posts are from 2008. And until 2013, maybe something has changed and I haven't found anything about it myself. And the link in this forum doesn't even work :) Please also check the sources.

Everywhere I can see you must have a special usb controller. So you probably won't connect via bluetooth. There is also an option to connect via wifi, but you have to search the internet yourself. We are here to help, not to look for information on the Internet for someone.

The Xbox 360 Wireless Controller uses the 2.4GHz connectivity standard. It is not bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

    There are two solutions.
Easier - buy an original receiver from M $
More difficult - buy a receiver installed in the Xbox 360 console and adapt it to work with a PC.

Thank you for the answer. I bought a receiver for the Pad.

Topic summary

The discussion centers around connecting an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller to a PC. Users confirm that the controller cannot connect via Bluetooth, as it operates on a 2.4GHz connectivity standard. The recommended solution is to purchase an original USB receiver specifically designed for the Xbox 360 controller. Some users mention the possibility of adapting a receiver from the Xbox 360 console for PC use, but this is considered more complex. Links to support resources are provided, but the consensus is that a USB adapter is necessary for a successful connection.
